Full Day Herbal Course with Workshop and Herb Walk

As a herbalist, one of my greatest pleasures is sharing my knowledge and passing this ancient tradition, wisdom and art further on in our communities. I truly love seeing people's genuine interest and reconnection with Nature as they learn how to work with the plants and create simple yet effective home remedies and become more knowledgeable and self-sufficient.

• The principles and ethics of sustainable herbal harvest
• Materia Medica - how to build our herbal knowledge
• Proper Harvest, Preparation and Storage
• Making simple remedies such as tinctures, oils and vinegars

After the introduction fika we'll head out for a herb walk where we will learn how to connect with, identify and ethically gather the herbs.
We will also learn how to use the Materia Medica as a learning system.

Once we've gathered some of the herbs, we can start making tinctures, oils and other remedies for our home apothecary and learn about their benefits, uses, dosage, etc.

We will enjoy lunch together outside in the garden. Bring your own lunch and we'll provide coffee, tea and cold drinks.

All the course material for making the remedies is included. Each participant will get their own Materia medica, recipes, list of some of the local medicinal plants and their benefits, bottles, ingredients, etc.
And you will take home with you the remedies you have made during the day.

We end the day with a Q&A session and a dessert with coffee and tea.

LANGUAGE: This workshop will be held in Swedish, unless majority of participants are non-Swedish speaking. English translation is available.
