Autumn colors and husky dog team - perfect match for a taste of genuine northern adventure

As the days get crispy with the autumn air, frost makes an art on the grass in the mornings and the trees wear their green-yellow-orange-red and brown coats and the fireweed fluff decorates the meadows, the huskies get really excited. It is their time of the year, after a well deserved summer vacation. But now the lazy days are over and the husky pack howls with excitement when they see the harnesses - they know it is time to run and explore the trails in the woods!

Come along for a ride with them and experience their happiness and enthusiasm as well as the beautifully colored nature around - it is a very unique opportunity and time of the year, that lasts only for a couple of months before the winter quickly arrives.

During this program you will get to meet the husky team that will take you for the ride, learn about the life of the pack and how we take care of our dogs. Then it is time to harness them and head out into the woods with a short halfway stop at the lake with a beautiful view, to let the team sip some fresh water and for you to enjoy a cup of hot drink and a fresh home baked pastry.

You can choose if you like to sit as a passenger on the wheeled cart (the off-snow version of a sled) or drive the team yourself all the way or part of the way. You can take turns as well.

Once back at the farm we will feed the dogs together and unharness them and you can enjoy a cup of coffee in their company before heading home.

We have a small authentic handcraft shop where you can buy souvenirs, including post cards, smoked moose and reindeer meet and other local delicacies and more.
